JUNE 30TH. WATERWAY CHARTER

Lee with 8 keeper flounder

ON JUNE 30TH, MONDAY . I HAD LEE CASTEAL, WHO IS A REGULAR FROM WEST VIGINIA DOWN FOR A FLOUNDER TRIP. WE WERE SUSPOSE TO GO ON A FRESH WATER TRIP FOR CATFISH, AND I TOLD HIM HOW THE FLOUNDER WERE DOING. AND THE BITE HAD BEEN GOOD. SO HE DECIDED TO GO FOR THE FLOUNDER INSTEAD OF CATFISH. LEE JUST LIKES TO CATCH FISH OF ANT KIND, NO MATTER IF KEEPERS OR KATCH AND RELEASE. WE WENT BACK TO WHERE I WAS THE DAY BEFORE AND LITE THEM UP EARLY. WE CAUGHT 16 FLOUNDER, BUT TODAY WAS DIFFERENT WE HAD A GOOD PERCENTAGE OF KEEPERS. THE FIRST 4 WERE KEEPERS, ONE WAS OVER 5 POUNDS, AND ANOTHER 3 POUNDER. THEN WE HAD A COUPLE THROW BACKS. AFTER THAT WE WOULD GET A KEEPER FOR EVER ONE WE RELEASED. WE ENDED UP WITH 9 KEEPERS OUT OF 16 FISH. AS ALWAYS ENJOYED FISHING WITYH LEE. BUSTER
