BACKWATER FISHING TRIPJAN. 20TH.

Linda showing one of the trout she brought in

ON FRI. WE WENT UP THE RIVER TO SEE IF THE RED FISH WERE STILL ON THE BITE. WE DIDN’T DO ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST HOUR OR SO, NOT EVEN A BITE. THEN WE M0VED TO A NEW SPOT IN THE WATER WAY AND GOT A NICE KEEPER THE FIRST FEW CAST. THEN ANOTHER HOUR OR SO BEFORE GETTING IN THE FISH HOT AND HEAVY. WE GOT 7 KEEPER SIZE DRUM AND A UNDER SIZE TROUT. WE RELEASED 6 OF THE DRUM ALL IN THE 24 TO 25 INCH RANGE. WE QUIT AND HEADED HOME AT 12:15 TO CLEAN AND COOK THE 2 NICE FISH WE KEPT. VERY NICE DAY A LITTLE SPRINKLE OF RAIN A COUPLE TIMES BUT DIDN’T STOP THE FISH FROM BITING.¬† ¬†CAPT: BUSTER
